photos from San Fransico

I know, I know, I'm a little slow getting photos onto this site. These pictures were taken from a quick weekend trip to San Fransico to celebrate our anniversary. The trip was back in the begining of August. It's now mid-November. Whatcha ya gonna do...

Bloggers block

After spending far too long making it look pretty, I now have a blog. Next comes the part I didn’t spend much time thinking about – writing stuff in it. You see, I’m not really much of a writer. Creatively speaking I have always been more about the visuals. Writing about things??? Not as much. Sure email correspondence at work is writing about things, which by the way I seem to spend the better half of most days doing, but this is different. Bloggery is supposed to be witty, insightful, humorous, and creative.

I took a little break and perused through a few of the blogs I know to get inspired. greenappleslingshot The kid can write, and he writes a lot. This sort of blog I would describe as a diary. Mostly telling of ones own stories in a log format.

Blogs don’t necessarily have to be a diary. You can write about anything – fictitious or real. You can make a political stand, or crack jokes. I think I will begin by posting stuff because I have an obligation. I built it now I have to put something in it. I’m not sure what that stuff will be, but if I get one entry a month you can pat me on the back.

Life Cycle

"Trial, error, rinse, repeat".

I saw this while browsing through the web today. I tried to relocate it hours later to supply credit and maybe a link, but I couldn't find it.

I've seen it before, but today it seemed to ring extra clear. It really summed things up. That's my life - reduced to 4 little words that cycle over, and over, and over again... and again.
